Preamble

Chargekeeper specializes in developing software related to EV charging station management and associated services, including the publication, promotion and commercialization of application software.

Chargekeeper is a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €10,000, registered with the Aix-en-Provence trade register under number 922 055 496. Its registered office is located at: Pole Morandat, 1480 Av. d'Arménie, 13120 Gardanne, France. It is represented by its acting President, Mr. Christopher NEY.

What personal data is collected and why?

Chargekeeper collects data as part of the use of its mobile application and charging stations. These data are essential to creating an electronic account for using EV charging stations and billing the related sessions.

For account creation in the app

Individual customers: email address, password, title, first and last name, phone number, billing and shipping addresses. When signing in with a Google or Apple account, these data are collected from those providers to pre-fill the form.

Business customers: in addition to the data required for individuals, a SIRET and VAT number are requested.

For billing

A payment method is required to charge on our public network. Users may add a valid payment card or use an Apple Pay / Google Pay account. No payment information is stored on Chargekeeper servers — we use a payment provider (currently STRIPE).

For support

When a user has an issue with the application or charging, they can request assistance by phone or via a form. The form is available on our website and hosted by the Webflow platform.

How is personal data processed?

Data is retained as long as necessary to fulfill orders and any applicable guarantees. Access to personal data is strictly limited to employees authorized to process them due to their duties.

Collected information may be communicated to third parties bound to Chargekeeper by contract for outsourced tasks, without customer authorization. Such third parties have limited access and must use the data in compliance with applicable data-protection laws.

Apart from the above cases, Chargekeeper does not sell, rent, transfer or give third parties access to the data without prior customer consent, unless legally compelled.

If data is transferred outside the EU, the customer is informed and provided with the safeguards taken to secure the data (e.g. Privacy Shield, CNIL-validated standard contractual clauses, code of conduct, CNIL certification, etc.).

What rights do you have on your personal data?

In accordance with applicable regulations, customers have the right to access, rectify, erase and port their data, and to object to processing on legitimate grounds.

These rights may be exercised by contacting the data controller at the following postal or email address:
